CDFW R3 is part of a national effort to reverse the decline in hunting, fishing and the shooting sports. The goal of California R3 efforts is to turn participation barriers in these activities into opportunities. R3 events seek to remove information barriers and build confidence around resources and knowledge in hunting, fishing, foraging and the shooting sports for everyone interested in harvesting their own wild food sources in California.
